Rated 2 out of 5 by None from Dissatisfied It is wretched the way these labels start falling off, in months to years after I have stuck them onto a manilla folder that i want to recycle. I finally came to your website and looked up the product number hoping that it would declare it as a temporary label and point me to another product as a 'permanent' one. Very disappointing to see that Label 5366 is described as 'permanent' and 'guaranteed not to peel or curl'. Every time I put one on, I hate it because I know it is going to come off again, and will I catch the file in time before it gets misplaced??? AVERY, YOU ARE THE MARKET LEADER, CAN'T YOU COME UP WITH SOMETHING BETTER? I will gladly be your beta tester. There's definitely something bizarre about this label definition. If I display the labels in Draft view, the labels appear normal, with gridlines as expected. But in Print Layout View, although I see end-of-cell markers where I would expect them, I don't see any gridlines at all--just the outline of an entire column. I was not even seeing text boundaries at first; I turned them off ( File| Options| Advanced: Show document content) to see if this was a factor, and it appeared not to be, but after turning them back on, I do at least see text boundaries marking the cells--sometimes. Some action to refresh the screen seems to be necessary (turning gridlines off and back on does the trick). The problem doesn't seem to affect other labels, so there must just be something wonky about this specific one. But if you display nonprinting characters ( Show/Hide ΒΆ or Ctrl+*), you will see the end-of-cell markers, and if you display text boundaries, you can see the cell boundaries.
